Teach ROGER what makes each store different.
Location attributes let you describe every restaurant the way your team talks about it: format, seat count, drive-thru, region, remodel year, owner group, or anything else that matters. Once they are set, you can compare stores by those attributes and ask ROGER questions like “how are stores with 200+ seats doing this quarter?”
Each location also has a place for context: when it opened, when it was remodeled, what is next door. ROGER reads it, so his answers account for what your team already knows.
What you can set up for each location.
Custom attributes
Create the fields you need, like format, seats, drive-thru, or owner group, and fill them for many stores at once.
Context ROGER reads
A free-text note per store: remodeled in Q2, shares a lot with the stadium, new competitor across the street.
Location facts
Opened date, closures, price zone, and duplicate POS records merged into one location.
Ask by attribute
Mention an attribute in a question to ROGER, or filter and group any report by it.
Comparable-store rules
Set when a store counts as comparable, so same-store numbers mean the same thing everywhere.
Fair store comparisons
Judge a store against stores like it, not against the system average.
How the parts connect.
Attributes and context make every decision more specific, and every lesson learned gets tied to the kind of store it applies to.
An example: comparing large stores to the rest.
Add what makes each store different.
Set attributes once and every report, query, and answer can use them.
Ask ROGER about a group of stores.
ROGER groups locations by the attribute you name and explains the gap, including the exceptions.

Names and numbers in these examples are illustrative.
Questions
What are location attributes?
Location attributes are the facts that make each restaurant different, such as format, seat count, drive-thru, region, remodel year, or owner group. In Quantiiv they become filters and groupings in every report and in ROGER's answers, so you can compare like with like.
Can I add my own attributes?
Yes. Create any attribute your team uses and set its value for one store or many at once.
How does ROGER use location context?
ROGER reads each location's attributes and notes before answering a question about it, so an explanation like a remodel, a stadium next door, or a new competitor is part of the answer instead of something you have to remind him about.
Does this work across different POS systems?
Yes. Attributes live on the location in Quantiiv, not in the POS, so they apply the same way no matter which system a store runs.
