REPORTING & QUERY BUILDER

Reports you can reply to.

Quantiiv's report builder lets your team build any restaurant report from clean POS data: pick a metric, slice it by store, region, daypart, or item, compare it to last year, and schedule it. Every report arrives from roger@quantiiv.com, so the report is the start of a conversation. Reply to see what moved, then reply again to find out why.

Prefer to skip the builder? Email ROGER to create, change, or schedule a report, or send him the spreadsheet your team builds by hand every week and he will rebuild it.

What you can do with reports.

Reply to dig in

Reports come from ROGER. Reply to see which stores or items are behind a number, then reply again to ask what caused it.

Pivot any metric

Sales, traffic, check, mix, discounts, labor, and more, by store, region, daypart, channel, item, or any attribute you define.

Fair comparisons

Prior year, prior period, and comparable-store breakouts, on your fiscal calendar, using your own comp rules.

Periods that roll forward

Save “last complete fiscal week vs. last year” once. It updates itself every time the report runs.

Scheduled delivery

Daily, weekly, or monthly. Each person gets one email a day with all their due reports attached as Excel or CSV.

Share with control

View or edit access per person. Everyone sees only the locations they are allowed to see.

An example: from a report to the cause.

South afternoons are down. Reply to the report and ROGER shows you exactly which stores are driving it.

04 · OR JUST ASK

Send ROGER the spreadsheet you build by hand.

He rebuilds it as a saved report and schedules it, so nobody has to rebuild it on Monday morning again.

To: roger@quantiiv.comHere’s the spreadsheet our finance team builds by hand every Monday. Can you rebuild it and send it to me weekly?

ROGER · 9:21 AMDone. I rebuilt it as a saved report and scheduled it for Mondays at 6 AM. The comp store column now uses your comparable-store rules.

Names and numbers in these examples are illustrative.

Questions

What is restaurant reporting software?

Restaurant reporting software turns POS and operations data into the reports a brand runs on: sales, traffic, check, mix, and labor by store and period. Quantiiv adds clean data across POS systems, comparable-store and prior-year comparisons on your fiscal calendar, scheduled email delivery, and an AI analyst you can reply to about any number in the report.

Can I reply to a scheduled report?

Yes. Reports are sent from roger@quantiiv.com, so replying goes straight to ROGER. Ask which stores or items are behind a number, then ask why, and he answers in the same thread.

Can reports combine stores on different POS systems?

Yes. Quantiiv maps every POS into one menu and one set of metrics, so a report covers all your stores no matter which system they run.

How do scheduled reports arrive?

By email, daily, weekly, or monthly. Each recipient gets one email a day bundling all their due reports, with the files attached. Recipients can mute a report they no longer need.

Do I need to know SQL?

No. Pick a metric and how to slice it, or ask ROGER by email to build the report for you.
