One calendar for everything that moves your numbers.
The Quantiiv Calendar is a shared business calendar for restaurant brands. Put promotions, GM changes, remodels, closures, and local events on it, for one store or every store, and ROGER and Storyteller use those events to explain what happened in your sales.
Most of what explains a bad week lives in someone's head or inbox. The calendar gives it one home, so nobody has to remember why Riverside dipped in August, and every answer accounts for it.
What you can do with the calendar.
Any event, your categories
Promotions, staffing changes, remodels, closures, local events. Name your own categories and colors, and add tags.
One store or all of them
Make an event company-wide, corporate only, or for the stores or groups it affects.
Franchisees add their own
Franchisees can put events on the calendar for their own locations, so local context is not lost.
Date ranges and repeats
One day or a span of days. Repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, with an end date or a set number of times.
Holidays filled in
Turn on US or Canadian holidays and they appear on the calendar on their own.
On your fiscal calendar
Year, quarter, month, and agenda views that follow your fiscal periods and weeks.
How the parts connect.
Events on the calendar explain what you see in the numbers, and they mark when a change started so you can tell if it worked.
An example: a GM changeover.
Put the event on the calendar once.
Add the GM changeover for Store 114 and choose who can see it. It takes a few seconds.
Ask ROGER about the week.
ROGER checks the calendar before he answers, so the changeover is part of the explanation, not something you have to bring up.

See it in the weekly story.
Storyteller uses the same events, so a dip your calendar explains is called out as such.
Names and numbers in these examples are illustrative.
Questions
What is the Quantiiv Calendar?
The Quantiiv Calendar is a shared business calendar for restaurant brands. It holds the events that explain your numbers, such as promotions, GM changes, remodels, closures, holidays, and local events, for one store or many. ROGER and Storyteller read it, so their explanations account for what your team already knows.
What kinds of events can I add?
Anything that affects a store or the business. You set your own categories, so the calendar fits how your team works: promotions and LTOs, staffing and GM changes, remodels and closures, local festivals and sports, or company milestones.
Who can see an event?
You choose for each event: everyone in the company, corporate only, the specific stores it affects, or a specific group of people. A remodel at one store does not need to clutter everyone else's view.
Can franchisees use the calendar?
Yes. Franchisees can add events for their own locations, which is often where the most useful local context comes from.
Can ROGER add events for me?
Yes, when you ask him to. Ask ROGER to put an event on the calendar and he will. He never adds events on his own.
Does it include holidays?
Yes. Turn on US or Canadian holidays in the calendar settings and they are added automatically.
