Quantiiv
STORYTELLER

The story of your business, told every week.

Storyteller is Quantiiv's autonomous weekly report. As soon as your fiscal week closes, it writes the story of your business: what changed against the same week last year, why it changed, which stores and items need attention, and what to look at next. It arrives from ROGER, and nobody has to build it.

It knows what your team knows. Put a GM changeover, a remodel, a promotion, or a local event on your calendar, and Storyteller uses it to explain the week. Leadership gets the system story; regions and stores get their own.

What Storyteller does.

Written autonomously

Every week, with no one pulling numbers: the headline, the drivers, and the exceptions, in plain English.

Your calendar as context

Add any event, like a GM changeover, remodel, promotion, closure, or local festival. Storyteller pulls it in to explain the week, and ROGER uses it when you ask a question.

On your fiscal calendar

4-4-5, 4-5-4, 5-4-4, or calendar months, compared to last year by weekday, with holiday shifts called out.

A story for every level

A corporate story, region or portfolio versions, and one for each location, each sent to the people who own it.

Flags what needs attention

A watchlist of what moved and why it matters, with the rule behind it, like three straight weeks of declining dinner traffic.

Reply to ROGER

It comes from ROGER, so a reply turns any line in the story into a question he answers in the thread.

Questions

What is Storyteller?

Storyteller is Quantiiv's autonomous weekly report for restaurant brands. Every week it writes the story of the business on your fiscal calendar: what changed against last year, why, which stores and items need attention, and what to check next, delivered by email from ROGER.

How does the calendar work?

Add any event to your Quantiiv calendar, such as a GM changeover, remodel, closure, promotion, or local event, for one store or many. Storyteller uses those events to explain the week, and ROGER brings them in on his own when you ask a question.

Does it use our fiscal calendar?

Yes. Quantiiv supports 4-4-5, 4-5-4, and 5-4-4 fiscal calendars and calendar months, with your own week start and 53-week years handled.

Can general managers get a story for just their store?

Yes. Storyteller runs at the corporate, region or portfolio, and location level, and each person only receives data for the locations they are allowed to see.

How is this different from a dashboard?

A dashboard waits for someone to log in and interpret it. Storyteller arrives already interpreted: what changed, why, and what to look at, in the inbox your team already reads.
